  1. Community Website: Updates & New Features

Most of our core features are back up, folks... tons more to do but we are getting there. Thanks for the patience!
  2. Community Website: Updates & New Features

We should be able to work out most of our remaining issues this coming week with a developer patch.
  3. Community Website: Updates & New Features

Reactions, reputation and awards are disabled off and on while I work out the bugs. I'm moving as fast as I can on this. Unfortunately as with most of our community services, the burden is entirely on me.
  4. Hello, All: Thanks for the patience involved while we have updated/upgraded various aspects of our website on Tuesday, 7/18/17. Please check your forum posts within the past day or two, as there may be some instances where you need to edit a post to correct format or post again fresh due to editing while the update was underway. I am aware of only one instance of this error and I have notified the OP, but please let me know if you see any other issues. So, what is new? - OBAG Supported War Thunder YouTube Channel! We are in the process of moving all existing War Thunder videos to a new channel that will focus on War Thunder content. A few admins will be selected and will have upload access to the channel. This new channel will be linked with our existing material and should be ready to start posting content early next week. This channel will also feature and support any individual member YouTube channels that contain War Thunder content. - Squadrons! Old Blood And Guts now has the ability to form sub-groups of players that are able to share a unique and specialized website instance. This instance includes a roster-keeping mechanism for squadron leaders, a forums area, a news feed, and the ability to invite and remove members. Also these "mini-sites" have the ability to showcase content and share content with the rest of the organization or strictly within the squadron. This could be a great way for smaller teams to work together to achieve shared goals. Example: Blue Wing in Star Citizen has a recon squadron with eight members that train together, build strategies to scout hostile territory and share ship fittings. This squadron area can provide everything from mission-specific forums to a unique squadron calendar along with flash updates to members on events. I set up a "demo" squadron for War Thunder as an example which can also be reached by the "Squadrons" tab in the main nav: In World War mode, groups of friends that train together in specific equipment could very well use this system to organize and plan for community events. I will be giving a full demo of our new Squadron system and the features involved in our next community meeting. - Aesthetics Redesigned and reordered homepage, now with game division headers for easy spot and navigate. - Reactions Similar to the reaction system on Discord, this provides more ways to interact with content beyond a simple thumbs up or down. - Profile Completion Assist A step by step process to encourage new members to complete a few profile steps. - Enhanced social media tools, including Facebook/Twitter placement & promotion tools for admins We will elaborate on this at a later date... More to share on many of these items later! (neeeeeeed sleeeeeeep)
  5. Andrew could you restore my access to the forums . Its a pain in the ass when people post links in discord and I don't have forum access . I figured it was a bug until today when I saw reserve status (I'm currently the third most active member btw) So if there isn't a mechanism for making someone active inactive aka once labeled inactive never again to be active again perhaps this should be reviewed

  6. Strange, I replied right after I saw it on Monday.
  7. War Thunder Competition Squadron

I think they did a great job putting all that together, and it certainly didn't sound as they dropped tanks intentionally. We have to start somewhere, this is an open process so folks can step up and put in similar effort for ground vehicles.
